Schools follow the Australian Curriculum, adapted by each state, and every student in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sits NAPLAN in March. At the end of school, each state has its own certificate: the HSC in New South Wales, the VCE in Victoria, the QCE in Queensland, the WACE in Western Australia and the SACE in South Australia.
